We Are Joining the Green Team by Launching a Recycling Policy at the Office

Embracing recycling is a responsibility to our planet, to our community, and to our company. And we are thrilled to share some fantastic news that underscores our commitment to sustainability, and environmental responsibility. In alignment with our Class A office modernity and high standards, we are introducing a recycling policy throughout our office spaces to make recycling easier and more accessible for everyone.

Recycling is a small but impactful step that each of us can take to contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. By segregating our waste and recycling materials properly, we reduce our environmental footprint and conserve valuable resources. Moreover, we are demonstrating our joint efforts to be part of an environmentally conscious community.

Here’s what you can expect:

1. Convenient Recycling Stations: You’ll find designated recycling stations on each floor, clearly marked and easily accessible.

2. Waste Separation: Bins will be provided for recycling paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, and other recyclable materials.

3. Educational Materials: We will place informational leaflets on the bins to help everyone understand what can and cannot be recycled.

4. Collection and Disposal: Our dedicated team will ensure the proper collection and disposal of recyclables to maximize the positive impact of our efforts.

We encourage everyone to join us in this effort to minimize waste and reduce our impact on the planet. Let’s take a step forward and lead by example in our commitment to a greener, cleaner world.

Here is some useful information so we can recycle by the EU regulations.

  • Heavily soiled or oily paper and cardboard waste (e.g. greasy pizza box)
  • Papers with special coatings (e.g. metal and plastic foils)
  • Any other non-paper waste

Boxes and cartons must be pre-folded. Avoid disposing of large corrugated cardboard and cardboard packaging.

Plastic Recycling

PLEASE, DISPOSE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Plastic bottles and containers of water, drinks, yoghurt, fresh milk, etc.

  • Plastic bags, stretch foil, and packaging foil

DO NOT DISPOSE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Non-plastic waste

Before you throw away the plastic packaging:

1. Empty the contents and clean the packaging (e.g. wipe off grease with a paper napkin or rinse)

2. Crush the bottles by rolling them to get the air out and reduce volume, then put the cap on.

Remember! Plastic takes years to degrade and pollutes nature the most!

Glass Recycling

  • Glass bottles of any type and colour
  • Glass jars and bottles of cosmetic products
  • Jars of all kinds of food

DO NOT DISPOSE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Broken glasses and plates

Before you throw away the glass packaging:

1. Remove caps and corks

2. Empty the content

3. Rinse them if possible /not necessary, but it helps to keep mud and dust off/

Remember! Glass for bottles and jars and flat glass /for windows/ are processed differently, so should not be mixed.

More Useful Information

We provide rechargeable batteries for your company devices at reception. We also collect used batteries from the respective devices for recycling.

The process for organic waste remains unchanged, with the continued use of the large bins in the kitchens on each floor.

Any reusable food containers left in the office will be recycled if not retrieved within a 1-month period.

Separate station for metal waste is not yet designed, so you could use the general waste stations.
